This record was originally released as a bootleg of Michael
Jackson's "Rock With You" in 1999 and marked the beginning of
ATOC records with a totally new direction from the crew that
has been releasing under the Liquid Groove imprint (H20, Matty
Heilbronn & Mike Delgado, Roland Clark). This record is still
in demand.

Like
many big hits this failed miserably at first, the electro driven
"Italo Disco Mix" was misunderstood and way ahead of fancy trends.
Released in 1999 it almost went under only to return remixed
and become THE Ibiza summer anthem of 2001, reaching the top
10 of the official U.K. singles charts and to go on and conquer
the rest of the world. |

their first production entitled "Rock to the Beat", the Nu Wave
Hookers speak the universal language of dance music, a fusion
of house, techno, punk and disco. With the vocal sample taken
from the 1989 detroit house classic by Reese & Santonio (Kevin
Saunderson) and influenced by the whole mash-up movement the
Nu Wave Hookers added their own grain of salt flirting not with
just one style or one audience: the Nu Wave Hookers "Rock to
the Beat". |
